Vogue Italia 2008

This is my favourite photo shoot. In my opinion it is the most beautiful photo shoot I have ever seen and had the pleasure of owning. I bought Italian Vogue in August of 2008 because it was Italian, I myself being part Italian, not knowing what I would find inside. My best friend who was with me (@xmarieclairex) bought French Vogue that same day because she is part French. The main magazine was huge. I was so heavy it actually broke the bag on my way home. There were two other magazines with it which were much, much smaller in size but inside one of them was Emma's shoot. I was flicking through the pages, as I do with any magazine when I first get it and thought I saw a face a recognised. This face turned out to be Emma's. The scream I let out almost resulted in my mum crashing the car, but anyway. I was stunned by it. I had never seen Emma like this before and the clothes, sets, props and makeup were each as stunning as the last.

We'll start with this one. This is picture has a dark feel to it, as did this particular line. This dress is the Chanel Haute Couture Fall 2008 Berry Puff Sleeve Dress.

The next look and picture was a playful one. You can tell by the cheeky grins on both Emma and the model in the scene. This is a Christian Lacroix Fall 2008 Couture Dress, worn with Sergio Rossi Pointed Toe Patent Pumps and Wolford Tights.

The next dress is a work of art. It is a Dior Haute Couture 2008 Dress and one of my favourite looks of the spread.

When I saw this picture I was floored. It did not look like Emma at all. She looked so grown up and elegant, which is no change for Emma but there was something different about this. It is a Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2008 Couture Gown

Atelier Versace Fall 2008 Gown

This shoot was definitely a Valentino overload, but I wasn't complaining. This is the first of three Valentino Fall Couture 2008 Dresses in pale purple...

...Green...

...and red.

This is a Givenchy Fall 2008 Couture Dress

I love this 1920s look on Emma. It suits her magnificently! This is a Dior Haute Couture 2008 Blue Dress worn with Dior Haute Couture Fall 2008 sandals in cream.

And the last look, but by no means least, is an Armani Prive Dress.
